Eligible Services: This Service Level Agreement applies only to to IP VPN Dedicated services that are being provided in Japan. It also applies to the dedicated Internet access being provided in Japan as part of IP VPN Remote Access service.
Conditions of Applicability: For this Service Level Agreement to apply, all of the following conditions must be met: (a) the customer is contractually committed to a service term of at least one year, and (b) the local loop is ordered by Verizon Japan Ltd (“Verizon”), and certified by Verizon Enterprise Solutions as SLA eligible.
- Network Availability Guarantee:
The Japan Internet Dedicated Network Availability Guarantee set forth at http://www.verizonenterprise.com/terms/asiapac/jp/dedicated/ will apply to each dedicated Internet access connection in Japan ordered as part of IP VPN Dedicated Service, provided that references in that Network Availability Guarantee to credits calculated on the basis of a Verizon Monthly Fee shall mean the Monthly Fee for the dedicated Internet access connection for which that Network Availability Guarantee was not met, not the entire Monthly Fee for Dedicated Service - 100% Local Loop Availability Guarantee:
The Japan Internet Dedicated 100% Local Loop Availability Guarantee set forth at http://www.verizonenterprise.com/terms/asiapac/jp/dedicated/ will apply to each dedicated Internet access connection in Japan ordered as part of IP VPN Dedicated Service, provided that references in that 100% Local Loop Availability Guarantee to credits calculated on the basis of a Verizon Monthly Fee for the Local Loop shall mean the Monthly Fee for the Local Loop only, and not the entire Monthly Fee for IP VPN Dedicated Service. - Network Latency Guarantee:
The Japan Internet Dedicated Latency Guarantee set forth at http://www.verizonenterprise.com/terms/asiapac/jp/dedicated/ will apply to each dedicated Internet access connection in Japan ordered as part of IP VPN Dedicated Service, provided that references in that Network Latency Guarantee to credits calculated on the basis of a Verizon Monthly Fee shall mean the Monthly Fee for the dedicated Internet access connection for which that Network Latency Guarantee was not met, not the entire Monthly Fee for IP VPN Dedicated Service. - Network Packet Delivery Guarantee: The Japan Internet Dedicated Network Packet Delivery Guarantee set forth at http://www.verizonenterprise.com/terms/asiapac/jp/dedicated/ will apply to each dedicated Internet access connection in Japan ordered as part of IP VPN Dedicated Service, provided that references in that Network Packet Delivery Guarantee to credits calculated on the basis of a Verizon Monthly Fee shall mean the Monthly Fee for the dedicated Internet access connection for which that Network Packet Delivery Guarantee was not met, not the entire Monthly Fee for IP VPN Dedicated Service.
- Reporting Guarantee:
The Japan Internet Dedicated Outage Reporting Guarantee set forth at http://www.verizonenterprise.com/terms/asiapac/jp/dedicated/ will apply to each dedicated Internet access connection in Japan ordered as part of IP VPN Dedicated Service, provided that references in that Outage Reporting Guarantee to credits calculated on the basis of a Verizon Monthly Fee shall mean the Monthly Fee for the dedicated Internet access connection for which that Outage Reporting Guarantee was not met, not the entire Monthly Fee for IP VPN Dedicated Service. - Port Activation Guarantee:
The Japan Internet Dedicated Port Activation Guarantee set forth at http://www.verizonenterprise.com/terms/asiapac/jp/dedicated/ will apply to each dedicated Internet access connection in Japan ordered as part of IP VPN Dedicated Service, provided that references in that Port Activation Guarantee to credits calculated on the basis of a Verizon Start-up Charge shall mean the Start-up Charge for the dedicated Internet access connection for which that Port Activation Guarantee was not met, not the entire Start-up Charge for IP VPN Dedicated Service. - Denial of Service Response Guarantee:
The Japan Internet Dedicated Denial of Service Response Guarantee set forth at http://www.verizonenterprise.com/terms/asiapac/jp/dedicated/ will apply to each dedicated Internet access connection in Japan ordered as part of IP VPN Dedicated Service, provided that references in that Denial of Service Response Guarantee to credits calculated on the basis of a Verizon Monthly Fee shall mean the Monthly Fee for the dedicated Internet access connection for which that Denial of Service Response Guarantee was not met, not the entire Monthly Fee for IP VPN Dedicated Service.
